After getting into PC gaming, PC ARPGs were something I tried out, first being Torchlight 2 Demo. Out and numbers skyrocketed, hitting a new peak almost 2 years after. Torchlight 2 if it doesn't follow it's predecessors footsteps of repetitive gameplay. (if you can enlighten me, that would be cool, i guess) Since I've played the Beta for Diablo III and quite impressed, I think it's going to be my choice of isometric hack'n'slash game. Titan Quest was a borefest for me, I don't understand what was so impressive that people praise it so much. Torchlight got boring half-way and forced me to just rush to the ending so I can say I'm done with it and uninstall it. Diablo series has kept me hooked for eons.
Not to say that the other titles I mentioned above won't be better in some ways, (I expect them to be in some ways) But I think DIII will give me the biggest all around package that I crave for in a game like this. I am actually looking forward to trying all of them:Eternal LineagePaths of ExileTorchlight 2 mainly for music, I love Matt Uelmen (who did the music for Diablo 1 and 2)Grim DawnBut I am looking forward to Diablo III the most, (its prolly my most anticipated title in several years)I Believe it will have the most of what I want in a game like this. I'm personally buying all three as they each look awesome in their own way.
